Hometown Holidays

December 12th 12-5pm

Gear up for the “most wonderful time of the year” with Brunswick Main Street and the shops of the Downtown with our annual Hometown Holidays.  This year will definitely not disappoint you with all the activities planned for this year’s event. 

Main Street Activities:

Christmas Crafts for Kids*

Santa Shop (a place where kids can shop for presents to give to their family), sponsored by the Brunswick Elementary PTO*

Enjoy a Holiday Movie for kids to watch while parents can spend the day shopping Downtown*

Reindeer Food*

Food will be provided by the Brunswick Fire Co.*

Live Christmas Music by local musicians

Be on the lookout for Santa as he drives up on his red motorcycle at noon*

Pictures with Santa in his Sleigh from 12-3pm*

Hay Rides with Santa around the City starting at 3pm (pick up at Square Corner Park)

Roasted Marshmallows in Square Corner Park starting at 5pm

“Museums By Candlelight” at the Brunswick Railroad Museum from Noon-4pm

Beans in the Belfry will have cookie and gingerbread decorating, crafts.  Chestnut roasting.  2 to 4pm  Christiana from Germany and Master Bob will perform holiday music on an original street organ from Germany and lead the audience in sing-along carol singing.  7 to 9:30pm  live entertainment by Jimi Cupino and friends performing blues intermixed with holiday melodies.

6pm Brunswick Elementary School Chorus will perform in Square Corner Park

6:30pm Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Square Corner Park

7pm Children’s Holiday Party at the Fire Hall
