First Friday in Brunswick
Join Historic Downtown Brunswick’s shops, restaurants, cafes, and antique markets on
First Friday of every month from 6-9 p.m. Shops offer extended shopping hours, and many host special activities. During First Fridays, visitors can take in gallery exhibits, enjoy live music, browse numerous boutiques and stores, and enjoy special activities. Brunswick also boasts having over 16,000 square feet of antiques within a two block area.
April 2nd “Starry Night Over Brunswick”
This is an art themed event designed to bring out your inner artist. Check out art from local artists that will be on display as well as live local music.
May 7th “Pet-A-Palooza”
Bring your pet down and enjoy a night out on the town designed for the animal lover and their best friend. All events this evening will be animal related. Live Music will be provided. This is a great annual event for the whole family.
June 2nd “Go for the Gold”
Get ready to gear up…literally..for our annual Bike Rodeo sponsored by the City of Brunswick and our Deadman’s Downhill Mile Race. Also this evening we will having an RC Car Race with prizes for the winners and a Live Local Band.
August 6th “Beach Party”
Spend the whole evening Downtown Brunswick with the family as tonight is also a Movies in the Park Night sponsored by the EDC. We will once again have the large sandbox out for the kids to play in and live music to listen to in Square Corner Park.
September 3rd “Great Outdoors”
Unwind with a Downtown event that is sure to get you in the mood to go camping. This First Friday is designed with the hiker in mind as all activities will involve getting out and exploring the Great Outdoors. Live Music will be provided.
October 1st “Railroad Days Kick Off Reception”
Join Brunswick Main Street and the Greater Brunswick Area Chamber of Commerce (GBACC) as we get ready to celebrate our heritage of trains. This is a Free event for all members of Main Street and GBACC to help kick off the fun filled weekend of the 27th Annual Railroad Days.
